About the Source/Farm
Finca Humana is part of the Café Organico Marcala cooperative (COMSA) and reflects the cooperative’s philosophy of human well-being and living in harmony with nature. The cooperative educates over 1,500 producer-members through seminars and biodynamic demonstration farms, fostering sustainable cultivation practices and community development.
COMSA invests in both the land and people, funding an international school that trains the next generation of leaders for the Finca Humana community. The coffee is meticulously processed: cherries are hand-sorted, floated to remove less dense beans, fermented properly, and dried slowly, ensuring high-quality, traceable Marcala coffee.
